this was my room last year but new place and will be here for 2 years (i don’t own the bookshelf any more and tryna see if i can fit one 😔

I would look at thrift stores, FB marketplace, and ask people who r moving out if they have any furniture they don’t want anymore! A lot of people’s leases r ending soon/just ended so def be on the lookout for people who just want to get rid of furniture

Also ik some people say blinds or curtains but honestly I would do both! Esp if ur a woman or u change in ur bedroom, I have both and it makes me feel a little more comfortable while also making the room feel more homey

yea the room is kinda small and connects to my closet and bathroom! tryna figure out how to put curtains up bc it’s very small aka hard to put a tension rod. i wouldn’t really get more furniture except a nightstand and a chair and can’t on facebook marketplace unfortunately. the area my school is in is like…..bad

i also can’t put holes in the wall bc it’s still a residence hall. i just need decor ideas on the wall mainly 😔

Oh gotcha, I was more thinking if u wanted to find another bookshelf like the one in the picture u could check out those methods ^ u may be able to put removable hooks on the walls to hold up a set of curtains

In my last dorm some friends made these huge drawings and taped them to the walls while I was out at class, got home to find Mike wazowksi, Jeff goldblum, and about a half dozen other wacky folks covering my walls. U could do something like that, very homestyle and cheap lol

i don’t really care about cheap tbh i don’t mind buying stuff in judt outta ideas on how to make it better than my previous lol (i work a full time internship rn and work two part time jobs during the school year)(so idc tbh)(i spend money on my room so i have a safe space ) just need general ideas to match what i did previous year but better
