This is only slightly related but I LOVE talking weapons. I once found a sword that was scared of blood (I think it basically refused to hit anything that bled but did bonus damage onto incorporeal creatures or things that didn’t bleed) but I would just chit chat with her the whole session. Named her Martha because she said she had never gotten a name. One of my favorite magical items ever
