Does anyone have any tips on how to use Conjure Animals (2014) efficiently? I’m making a shepherd Druid, but I don’t wanna be a bother to the group.

My character is inspired by Radagast, so one restriction I’m giving myself is that I will only summon forest animals, so no dinosaurs or apes, etc

I thought of just having all the summons count as a swarm, but if I’m making only one attack for the swarm I’m bound to hit less than if each animal would individually attack

Um it’s not hard the spell/ability has you roll for the animal class/type/level and again for quantity/duration. It’s how you play it! Enjoy yourself.

The spell doesn’t make me roll for any of those tho. I just have to choose how many I wanna summon, and based on that is the CR of the animal I can choose.
