How long do your sessions normally go? I play with a few people who are full time employed. We do 2.5 hours every week. 7:30 - 10. It’s very chill, but still enough to feel like I got something out of session. It’s also not so late that I feel like my whole Friday is swallowed up by it, like I can still do dinner with friends before session or go for a drink after.

homebrew your character and do one shots. that’s what always gets me back into it. i did a one shot that was transformers themed with different mechanics. otherwise being a dm is also a nice change of pace.
