My advice is simply talk to your party and DM. If it turns out you are, discuss ways for everyone to have fun without taking away your fun

I try to limit my talking to like one section if that makes sense? I’ll chime in with suggestions but as a ranger with lycanthropy (wildhunt) there’s a couple places I really shine. Like the dm builds encounters with the party in mind so I try to ask myself is this a situation where a ranger would be leading?
