There’s a mix I say. Some shit is cool to have meaning while other stuff you can just pick, and then make items that exist in the world have names that come from the pantheon, perhaps cities perhaps nations or like calender stuff idk

I search through baby names meaning something connected to the god. Then I find one a like and tweak it a bit into something else using language rules, same with characters. I have a demigod of Hermes with the name Daliah that stems from an epithet he has of Dolios.
