My roommate is still in a D&D group with 1) coworkers from a job that fired them and 2) the roommate they had before me, who they had to EVICT LEGALLY BECAUSE HE REFUSED TO LEAVE FOR MONTHS AFTER REFUSING TO RENEW HIS PART OF THE LEASE Both of these things happened about three years ago and this D&D group still happily meets every Saturday, I’m assuming they simply do not talk about anything not specifically D&D lol
Ah. for me i had to leave a campaign cuz of college and oh my gosh I miss it dearly. I may have not really been around long enough to know anyone besides the person who introduced me to that campaign but it was such a great time I hope they’re all doing so well. It was so much fun even if I played as a practically side-but-around-for-two-arcs character and thus didn’t get access to the juicy fun homebrew stuff (which for story reasons made sense)
I didn’t wanna be the weakest link for the group, but with this summer hopefully I’ll be able to return, even if I play a side role of a character. The campaign has inspired me to work on homebrew projects though I’ve lacked the time to work on them because engineering majors get no free time ever lol
