Ranting because the DM has ignored pre-established lore from past campaign on MULTIPLE occasions -_- the lore lover in me is very very pissed and so is the previous DM…

Talk to them about it. Do not try to solve it at the table during the session.

Oh no, are there any elves or super old characters in the group that can make a huge deal in game about it and what history being warped could mean? People who would have lived through the first Dm’s campaign?

I agree and plan to. Me and Him have a weekly chat about our campaigns (I run a different one). The biggest issue is we have talked before, I thought it was done and over with, but now he’s had a NPC make a claim that is small but lore breaking. Honestly, now that I’ve had time to think about I’m sure it’ll go over fine and he will just ret-con it. It’s just annoying

We don’t want any more drama than there is. We will discuss it outside of the session.

I didn’t mean in a dramatic way but just if there were any scholars lol that’s fair but I would still share it with the DM tbr, saying this as a DM, they could have an end in mind behind the choice

I see, my apologies:) yes, the two campaigns are only a few years apart. Perhaps there is an end in mind, but there is also only 2 sessions left, and unless he pulls the greatest plot twist of the century, I don’t see it playing out well. Also the sessions are more combat based and not Roleplay unfortunately so that may not happen either. If it does though, I promise I’ll reply to you in two weeks lol
