Went to palace of Versailles on vacay and I deadass asked the tour guide if Princess Anastasia Romanov (yes, the princess from Russia💀😭) used to lived there. I never said anything on that visit again afterwards and kept my mouth shut

What was worse was that I was in first yr college, and I was xtremely uneducated in history (my schools did not invest in history education and only taught like basics. We didn’t learn anything about Europe except for Britain😭). Oh and on top of that, there was a kid in the group and she was the one to first correct me and laughed at me🤭🥲.
