Yup! Through Symbiosis algae colonizes the salamander eggs giving the embryo O2 and getting CO2 from the embryo— as the embryo ages scientist have found algae in the cells!! (The algae is useful because they lay eggs in fishless water with less O2 in the water) if that makes sense? My summary might be bad lol
