When I was a freshman there was a cichlid in the most pathetic, tiny fucking tank in one of the study areas. We tried to tell the RAs in charge of said study area that it needed a bigger tank and better care, but they wouldn’t listen to us and also complained that we were so adamant about a living thing being treated well. We had a rescue mission for him. My buddy stole him and gave him a much better tank and life lmao. His name was Timmy. We miss him.
