first time seeing my favorite flower(alive) in person! interesting fact is that it is indeed a flower, but it doesn’t produce chlorophyll😵‍💫 it gets nutrients from mycelium!!

so neat!! i was working the trails and walked straight past it, but my coworker behind me called me back because he knows i love weird nature shit. he actually thought it was a fungus at first!! seriously one of the all time coolest plants IMO
