not justifying him but they arent dead. what he does do though is capture invasive species such as burmese pythons which i assume he does kill but never shows them dead.

knowing this does lead me to not want to support him and i don’t fw trump supporters at all, but idk if i believe that’s true still. like sure dude probably holds some opinions that are atrocious but if he keeps them to himself i don’t see how that outweighs the fact that he is educating thousands of people about conservation

like he’s surely a hypocrite in some ways but i truly just don’t believe that his educational content is worthless when it has reached so so many people. if he also posted political content that would be different but i dont think some random dude having a shitty opinion he doesn’t talk about is doing as much harm as his education is doing good if that makes sense

probably has done some raising awareness for the everglades ecosystem and about invasive species, but his methods are just too focused on farming engagement and encourage unsafe interactions "whoooo look at me i'm such a wild card i'm picking up venomous snakes and nearly getting my hand chomped by gators"

he isn’t really educating though. he just kinda harasses animals and shows off how many he can catch. very rarely does he mention that theyre invasive or really explain the impact they have on the florida everglades. his “shitty opinions” and who he votes for absolutely do negate the work he does. whats the point in removing invasive species and speaking out on development over wetlands if ur gonna vote for the guy who pushes that and doesnt care ab the environment??
