he’s a total sweetie, if not a bit picky when it comes to food. he loves people, and adores anything grape- especially frozen grapes! he really likes cuddling with his friend hope :)

you can also id him by his kicked puppy demeanor. hes definitely the “omega” of the group, understandable cause he used to be a pet and didn’t interact with other chimps till he came to the sanctuary, but he still has his buddies and is overall doing well

ofc would love op chiming in (or correcting) and I’m not trying to intrude, but yes great apes usually have a social hierarchy with an alpha male. Wolves do not actually have a hierarchy (which is ironic imo bc of the omegaverse implications)

Prev comment is correct! However, unlike a lot of psuedoscientific alpha-beta descriptions, its not something innate. Some groups can have an alpha male and female, some have only one, it can vary. Whoever’s the alpha can change, and challenges to dominance aren’t uncommon! Hell, multiple less dominant chimps can gang up on the alpha
