It’s wild how remote it is out there, border patrol doesn’t need much presence there because attempted illegal crossings are so difficult physically

They do stop cars leaving big bend and check to make sure everyone is a citizen. I was on a trip with 2 international students from Saudi Arabia and they brought folders of paperwork with them
