It makes me upset when people call people who enjoy taxidermy, dissections, vouching etc psychos and weirdos. Appreciating the life the animal had and what we can learn from it is very different from killing things. It’s not weird, it’s science and art

It is a wonderful artform to preserve nature. Natural history museums are so cool and so much of the exhibits exist because of taxidermy and careful preservation of bones, hides, etc. Dissections are also very important to learn about anatomy. Preservation of the natural world is cool to me.

Yes! Similar to taxidermy but you fill the with cotton instead of a form
