hiking alone means you can sing Just Around the Riverbend or Colors of the Wind while walking & you can stop and listen for birds with Merlin ID without awkwardly havin to tell someone to stfu bc you’re trying to identify birdsong… and you can stop and stare at anything for as long as you want!!!

Hiking alone= own pace + take a million pictures of fungi, moss, trees, and other critters most people will skip over
