Floral industry is crazy evil undocumented ppl harvest wild forest products forced to work in illegal manners on private property without gathering licenses and are paid illegal wages and when they get caught theyre deported

I like gifting living plants instead

agree with #1 but whenever i get flowers i like to dry/press them and then use them in art projects or as decor :) gives them a longer life instead of throwing them out

If given flowers the best thing you can do atp is to enjoy them

Yes!! I also press flowers but don’t often use them😅

I know a lot of ppl enjoy getting and/or giving flowers but sometimes seeing them just makes me sad cause the flowers don’t get to serve their purpose and help the environment/ecosystem. Plus people often will throw them away instead of composting them
