I’m trying to unlearn my fear of snakes and spiders so hard!!! I’m still afraid of them but I do respect them and tell them “hello! Thank you for what you do, please stay away from me!😀”

Haven’t gotten far on the spider front, but I managed to overcome my fear of snakes!! I did it by watching snake egg clutch hatching videos, and then just learning more about them! Snake discovery is a channel I highly recommend :)

I’m going to try this with bees! wasps, yellow jackets, etc are so valuable but also scare me so much!

i love a snake and a spider but i really wish i was better with big beetles and roaches. like i know they’re for the most part harmless but they give me the creepy crawlies. and on the harmful end one time i got pinched by a stag beetle on my thumb nail and it felt bruised for like a week

Currently doing this with a massive cockroach that’s loose in my apartment. He escaped my cup twice and now he’s somewhere around my bedroom. I’ve named him Houdini the magic cockroach and it’s helped me be less terrified 😛

bumblebees? yes, love them🫶🏼 the wasps that keep getting in my house, dying, and other wasps following their scent into my house? don’t love them as much, their nest is right on our front porch too and idk what to do!!

Hardware stores sell wasp spray thats pretty strong. Some say you can spray from 20 ft away, that’s the one i use. It is important to knock down the hive once you do that… or you can do the gasoline trick, but that’s risky

for real!! one time i was on a hike and i went to pick up a rat snake(completely harmless) and everyone i was with freaked the fuck out like i was insane and i was like oh….
