one day a man i’m working to help with my capstone project just randomly dropped that he had traveled and done research projects with her, and even day one of his best friends went to dinner with her the night before she passed… i was flabbergasted

Sad that I’ll never have the chance to meet her now… (like even to see her present her work or do a talk not necessarily one on one cause that’s pretty unrealistic)
