and this is not me saying hurr durr i hate that we protect endangered species this is me saying why do we put so much effort into trying to revive this one species that you have not shown me to have any value other than existing, when there’s destruction of habitat occurring on a landscape scale right across the street from it. couldn’t we use the fund you used to research and revive the plant to attempt to save entire ecosystems?
