Real talk. Environmental Science Major here. I might move to Germany, the Netherlands, or New Zealand or something after graduating from college I want my work to help people and nature, and I just get scared that my career will be walked back or smth

Germany is not headed in a great direction politically, and there can pretty strict language requirements, so keep that in mind as you’re making plans (as a German double major who no longer has plans to move there)

ditto to what #1 said, if you can land an enviro job in new zealand take it and never look back lmao. i will say new zealand isn’t super fond of foreigners moving there so australia might be an easier option. not quite as majestic but still gorgeous and fascinating

There’s an ongoing attempt to make it easier for skilled workers to migrate there, but it’s receiving some pushback from locals
