I’ve been saying for months but i have no doubt it’s the worst car on the grid. People will say “oh its just hard to drive” but that argument can be made for the Alpine. “oh the car is actually made for Jesus Christ he can drive it to first place” (hypothetical lmao) well jesus isn’t in the car and it’s last so it’s the worst car. Max is the closet thing to jesus in f1 rn and he has all but 7 points for the team. Without him they would be the worst on the grid.

We have always asked what would happen if max drove the worst car on the grid. Well he is driving the worst car on the grid that happen to also be hand made for him and he’s still hanging on to third thanks to a few of George’s mistakes.

I hate to agree but the math says you’re right. Max is carrying red bull they would be at the bottom without him. What has red bull become

I don’t know if I agree the car is made for max. I think red bulls whole concept is produce the fastest car, idc how drivable it is. Many drivers like Albon, gasly, checo( to some extent) couldn’t adapt to that philosophy but max could

the car was made for max, checo had made that very clear, his opinion was never valued by the team. The upgrades they have made since august 2024 (newey leaving) i don’t know if it’s been specifically for max or if it was to fix the car. It’s his preferences built into the car, his style suited, everything about the car ‘was’ built for him. Idk if it still is like that

But what about drivers like Albon and Lawson talking about how it’s not and taking about drivability? I don’t disagree that it fits maxs driving style but personally I just think max is that good to adapt. I am a verstappen fan however so I am likely biased

albon and lawson say it’s not built for max? idk how that could be true when we know max’s style, and we know how the car is built. We know alex, lawson, yuki, and checo all couldn’t drive the car when it wasn’t at its best. Throughout all that max could. Max is a great driver but F1 drivers are in the place they are for a reason. Even if he is the greatest driver of all time he technically isn’t that much better than the other drivers.

I believe there are an interview or two with both Lawson and Albon saying the car isn’t specifically built for max but that it just has “a very narrow window” in which the car behaves properly

I’ll trust them on that, but in my eyes, the narrow window is max’s preference on the car
