F1 on Yik Yak | at work today so far, 4 people have come into my store with some type of formula 1 shirt on. i asked all three if they watched the race….no one did….at this point i just like to see the look of embarrassment on their faces when i ask them about it😌

i mean it’s also true that mclaren at least has stepped up their promo merch at places like hollister and old navy so part of it makes sense to me

Some people follow it but can’t afford to watch it or find a way to watch it 🤷‍♂️ however a lot people are just into it because of Netflix and as a result they only watch DTS

That may be true for some but most it’s rare I find an actual F1 fan wearing F1 apparel. It’s starting to become the new band tees.

no yeah i agree that sometimes u can’t watch all the races n stuff but the way they look at me when i ask them, they are not real fans 😭😭

True, but that’s what happens when something becomes as commercialized as f1 has as of late. It’s not surprising to me 😭
