Real talk: Max is now a very genuine threat to the championship. If McLaren want to win they need to prioritize their leading driver and that’s Oscar. If they continue to fight and take points out of each other without worrying about Max it’s all over

As an Oscar fan personally I don’t know if it’d be wise to prioritize him. Of course I would love that but he has been underperforming compared to Lando. I think at least give them another race to see who performs better before prioritizing one of them

Oscar’s one of my favorites but I’ll agree that Lando has been performing better recently however if McLaren decided to prioritize Lando over Oscar after he’s led for so long and put in so much work to keep that gap the fallout would be even worse than “papaya rules” yk like that would not be fair at all

I think the fallout would be bad no matter what. If Oscar is prioritized Lando fans will argue Lando deserved the championship more and vice versa. Personally I don’t think either driver currently deserves the championship
