As a Max fan, while I can see where Max is coming from, but him threatening to quit the sport just seems childish. Like he can’t handle not being at the top of the pack.

“I can’t be a fan of a driver if I can’t criticize them” 👈That’s what you sound like. If Vettel, Kimi, or Alonso threatened to quit, it would be justified from the suffering they experienced. Max hasn’t won in a year, and is now below the podium. And we think this response is acceptable?

Reread my post, I’m saying that you can’t be a fan of his because you clearly know nothing about him or the actual reason for him complaining 💀 Fans don’t talk out their ass without knowing any context about the driver they’re supposedly a fan of “Hasn’t won in a year” when Abu Dhabi wasn’t even four months ago and you’re still saying you’re a Max fan oh my lord get a fucking grip 😭😭😭

This is what is going to kill interest in the sport. If I’m wrong, I’m wrong, just say that like an adult. I can be a fan and have wrong opinions/persepctive. Look at Team LH. If you keep gatekeeping conversations, telling people they’re not ‘real fans’ if you disagree with them, and having a meltdown every time someone disagrees with you, you’re going to have a very small circle of friends to talk with, and less people will want to engage in conversations about the sport.

Nah bro the backtracking is hilarious, it’s about educating yourself before acting knowledgeable and cocky enough about something to have arguments with people about it. I’m not telling you that you’re not a real fan because I disagree with you, I’m telling you you’re not a real fan because you don’t know shit about the driver you’re supposedly a fan of. It’s like saying you’re a Kendrick Lamar fan and you tell someone he’s a country music singer 💀

I like how the whole second half of that comment is you trying to launch some personal attack when you were the one who literally just came in here spewing false information that you were uneducated about 😭 you’re the one having a meltdown just because I told you that I don’t think you’re a Max fan if you don’t know anything about him. A rule of thumb for life in general is to not try to act smart about things if you aren’t aware of the full context of the situation. Try to do that a bit more.
