Not a MV fan but he sure as hell ain’t a quitter! FIA is messing up rules and regulations… like the on track issues are the ones f1 pandits have spoken about for more than a year! And it is true FIA is ruining F1.. as much as I am a supporter of Merc and Ferrari I sympathise with Max… they are ruining the fun of F1..

Like last season literally proved he’s anything but a quitter… can’t understand how people are saying he’s quitting the moment he doesn’t have the fastest car when he was losing races by 20 seconds, had a 100 point gap to the championship, and still kept pushing This is about way more than that and Max has been complaining about these new regs since he first sat in the sim in 23

Yuppp agreed! Like talk about who had the most point for a team while the team mates couldn’t even get close to what he had… like the downfall of redbull started as Adrian left but still managed to keep going

While that is true, and I applaud Max for his comeback, threatening to quit just because your car/team isn’t on the podium anymore due to reg changes makes him look like a quitter, I’m sorry. And I love Max. But there are people who have suffered more than him and still pushed. Hamilton, Kubica, FUCKING FERNANDO ALONSO like come on man.

You can’t say “while that is true” and then go on to completely disregard the point 💔 the reason he’s quitting is because he’s not having fun anymore and he’s been extremely clear about that. His issue isn’t about finishing races in P8, it’s about being stuck in P8 the entire race focusing on battery management instead of pushing himself and his car to the limit. He’s not the only driver to complain about this…

exactly like compared to those guys he looks like a quitter. i could argue that the reason he’s not having fun anymore is because he’s not winning. can you honestly say he would quit f1 if he was winning AND the regs were bad?

After further research and consideration I retract my original statements. I didn’t understand the full scope of everything going on, and I respect Max for prioritizing his happiness. While I don’t always agree with what Max says and does as a Max fan, he is still human. That’s my bad y’all.
