Hot take: Piastri is much more unlikable than lando is. Lando sucked at admitting he wasn’t good enough for the car. Oscar sucks at admitting when he is wrong. Overall Oscar just acts like a brat imo. Like for example there’s a reason Alpine announced he was their driver. They weren’t just bullshitting. Oscar stabbed them in the back last second. I would too but it’s still an asshole move.

No I agree. Not something I would have done but I can understand wanting to be in the best seat (even though McLaren wasn’t that great when piastri signed). Ig at the end of the day it comes down to preference. I think piastri is the more complete driver, he’s calm under pressure, performs well, is damn quick, and has an sort of Kimi raikonin/max idgaf vibe and that’s what makes me like

I agree that oscar is better than lando overall, but I think currently lando can drive the car better. It’s just lando doesn’t have the consistency that any driver on the grid has. He bottles, he makes mistakes. But when he is on he is driving that car to its fullest potential something oscar hasn’t got to yet imo. like small example is monaco. Lando literally has a perfect lap around monaco and with the cars getting worse next year he’s going to hold the lap record for a while

That’s it. Honestly. Lando bottles too much. Even Charles said it “lando we can be world champions”. He has the talent, he just bottles and ig thats why I prefer piastri

fair, I personally think lando will hit his prime years, if the car is still good lando will win the championship. I think lando will win it this year. Austria took something out of him. Oscar could easily keep it but he imo he lost it all when he was on the radio begging his engineer to switch positions after getting a penalty. Momentum is very important in f1 and silverstone flipped it. Just like in 2021 when Lewis hit Max. Max got it back. but both of those are too controversial to debate

spa is also a bad track for lando (almost dying in 2021) and bad luck in almost every year after lmao. gonna be a great race
