Do we have the same cousin? Mine is still like 1 1/2 hrs away. I found out she was having another baby through a post on facebook. Which I hardly ever go on. She only reaches out to me when she needs something and will leave a majority of my texts on read. She texted me recently asking about my grandparents who are staying at my parents sometimes next month. I decided that I’m done being her source of information and left her on read. It might be petty, but I’m not going to waste my time

She lives in another country, however, has told my mom & grandma over here. This is the second time as well since she just had her second baby recently & the two are 14 months apart. On top of that it was my first time visiting that country & it was a depressing honestly

That’s so much worse wtf I’ll never understand family members who do that 🥺 I didn’t know about another maternal cousin who had her child, but it was only when she came home from work into our grandparents’ house instead of online. 😅Rather face to face even if it’s on FaceTime (beforehand) instead of online/after cause it’s hurtful

It is what it is. Relationships need effort on both sides. Either way, it hurts to lose a relationship that used to be super close.
