Could the environment I was raised in be the reason I am like this? Because my whole life that’s how adults acted towards each other, that’s just how I learned how to socialize without realizing that it’s not normal to socialize like that?

I feel like if that’s the majority of what you saw growing up it would make sense for you to mimic that behavior growing up and perceive it as normal

I feel like it’s important to mention that I’m not even the type of person who wants to date/hook up/ etc. I’m happy and content being single and having platonic relationships. I’ve been accused of leading people on when I genuinely believed that we were just being friends and having normal interactions. Idk it’s just frustrating
