Anyone in the situation where you’re closeted to your family not because they’re necessarily homophobic but because you know they’d be disappointed that you’re gay and it’s too much to explain anyway
I’m aroace and my parents barely have a concept of bisexuality there’s no way I’m opening the lgbtqia+ can of worms so I just let them waffle on about when I’ll get a bf and talk about my future kids that I don’t want and will not be having

I’m ace and dating a man (and a woman but that’s another story) so I just feel like I don’t need to. Like they’ll accuse me of wanting to be special and I’ll have to pretend like it didn’t hurt or didn’t happen when it can just not happen by just showing them what they want to see

Don’t come out. Live your life. If they notice, then they’ll know, no explanation necessary

I’m asexual biromantic and I feel you. My parents also barely understand bisexuality so I’m not even gonna try unless there’s no choice
