They called me a waste of time and my mom said that my little sister should’ve been the first child (ie. she wished she never had me)

That they preferred a past version of me. That I had changed beyond recognition and they wanted their son back… This was immediately after I spent 2 weeks in the Neuro ICU after a brain surgery. I was facing the worst time of my entire life and they didn’t even care about making known how conditional their love was… for their own SON! 😔

They were both very shocked and offended when I broke down, after graduating high school and getting into a t25, convinced that they weren’t proud of me (they aren’t, I’m just a trophy on the shelf to be shown off to family and friends)
