it makes me lash out when they so blatantly choose to be ignorant about something or have no understanding of how constant criticism throughout my life has turned me into an anxious, neurotic perfectionist with burnout, or how i might feel towards their own mistakes that i keep expecting them not to make because i FEEL like they should know better
