When I was on campus I stayed in the apts. It’s doable if you have fafsa and grants that lower payments. Off campus find a room that’s rented out somewhere and move there no need to worry about credit same w campus tbh. Just save up, have enough to pay 6 months. Should be good as long as you split the pay w 3-4 other ppl.

I hope I’m not overstepping but I’ve felt the same way a million times. Are you afraid physically, emotionally? If you are physically safe, consider grey rocking. It’s basically just not reacting to anything she says or does if she is in a bad mood and trying to make it your problem. If she can’t find anything to react to, she might give up on antagonizing you.

As for apartments if you’re an undergrad you can apply privately with the residence life staff and explain your situation. They might be able to find housing for the summer for you that could be covered partially by scholarships/student loans. They often have students who need to stay for other reasons (international students, summer term students, etc.) so it doesn’t hurt to ask!
