Im staying at my brother’s this weekend. I stumbled upon his planner. This MF SAVES/INVEST almost $2,000 A WEEK! $2,000 DISPOSABLE income per week! Meanwhile, I have to charge my health insurance to MY CREDIT CARD and pinch pennies for gas money! FML!!!!

Unpopular opinion but he financially isn’t obligated to you. His choices got him there and vise versa…. Coming from the sibling who constantly foots the bill

Let him hook you up. Ask for a job.

I did. But the best he could do was a part time gig with minimum pay…

I mean you can ask him what he did to grow himself financially. But i don’t understand if this post is just a rant abt not having enough money or ranting about a family member not giving money. Either way, if you have a better job than what he offered, don’t go for it. Otherwise, take it or ask for help finding a better one.

Where in this post did he say he was asking him for money? I’m sure that would be frustrating when he’s barely scraping by and his brother has that much disposable income. He just came here to rant on the rant page. Anyone would be a bit frustrated/ jealous in this situation

Is it possible that part time gig could lead to the same outcome? Like if you get your foot in the door would you be able to transfer inside the company to a similar position

I don’t think that’s an unpopular opinion.

I never suggested that he should give me his money. I’m just RANTING about how I’m broke but he is making thousandS more than he needs!

Man that really sucks then, have you thought about going into a trade? I’ve heard electricians make a lot of money, not enough to invest $2000 a week ofc but enough to live with plenty of excess cash
