Because things are missing for the three month old. Today it was the pacifier. I didn’t touch it today. It has been missing since I got her for my part of the day (2 hours around 2-3pm). So I calmly said I didn’t have it. She continues to bitch that every time she comes home something is missing. She bitches about having to wake up with her daughter in the night and that she has to work and that she does so much (but she doesn’t do any chores at home). So I pointed out the fact that I go to

She wanted to be ungrateful and push away the only help she had, so be it. You’re sacrificing a lot to help her and instead of her showing gratitude, she takes her frustrations out on you, her help. You aren’t in the wrong and I’m happy you set boundaries for yourself.

College, I work 4+ days a week at 5-7 hours a day, I clean. I also pointed out the fact that she chose to keep the kid (not saying the other option was abortion but there was adoption and stuff).

She also bitches about her daughter sleeping all day. She doesn’t. We put her to sleep when she won’t stop fussing and have exhausted other options. Don’t get me wrong I’m happy she kept the kids, I love them dearly. I just hate being bitched at for things I didn’t lose, or things I didn’t do (like let her sleep all day)

Am I an asshole because I said I was done dealing with the bitchiness and that I won’t watch her kids that she chose to have?

Yeah, def not your responsibility. It was her choice to have kids that young, she should’ve known what she signed up for. Kids are a huge commitment and you shouldn’t be taking care of her kids just because you’re related to her. You should at least be getting paid.
