Is it possible to still feel so neglected even as an adult? I’m adopted and younger than all of my family. I’ve never felt wanted and I really just don’t know what to do

Yes! I feel this way all the time deep down. It’s the longing for something that never was. It never really goes away, but you can find things to temporarily fill the void. A work family, work in general, having a project.
