Had something similar. I came out as atheist a few years ago and my family said I was the dumbest person on planet earth and they could not believe someone who's working on multiple degrees could be so stupid.

I agree with #1. You are free to believe what you want and she doesn’t have the right to talk to you like that. As a daughter of a woman who is a hypocrite and lowkey psychotic, I know the struggle. She’s told me that I’m free to believe whatever religion I want yet when she found out I like shows like Hazbin Hotel, she assumed I was a devil worshipper

Oh yeah yeah yeah. Call your mother selfish while being selfish at least five times, otherwise she will just blow it off. Try and force future husband / wife to be mean to future in-law. Oh man that’s the best.

Oh my gosh this wedding and all the fights meltdowns and freak outs are going to be awesome. I wish I was invited. OP LEARN THE PHRASE I AM WITH HOLDING YOUR GRANDCHILD trust me it’s a real winner and sure to bring everyone to anger based tears.
