I'VE BEEN SAYING THIS. "Blood is thicker than water" is only the FIRST HALF of the saying. It's meant to be followed by, "but blood of the covenant is thicker than water of the womb."

This is true but also every family is different. Me personally, my family would give the clothes off their backs if me or one of us was struggling, regardless of what they’re dealing with. But so would my friends too.
