I love my current career (not engineering exactly, but sort of lead me into this field) and I still bake as a hobby. I had a bad accident though and can no longer hold my instrument without extreme pain, so it did work out. Even if he was an ass about it (like he’d yell at me for the “stupid” idea, made fun of my dream to others, etc)
