No I don’t bc idk specifically where you’re moving and what you’re doing when you get there. When I was 18 I told my mom I’m moving to campus. I said she can help me or come visit she actually did neither of those things for 4 years.

Well my classes start up around the 12th but the landlord said I could move in sometime in the 7th or whenever I want after the person is moved out. Campus is relatively not that far from my place either, so it’s not like they wouldn’t know where I’m at. But I never know how they’d react, and if anything it might just be a negative reaction with them saying I don’t love them anymore which like idk kinda partially true cuz they’ve made my life a living hell and im so ready to just leave

But I don’t wanna deal with negative repercussions if that happens, and it’s also only a sublet so I obviously can’t take all of my shit with me so I was hoping maybe they be completely heartless about it so I could have days where I can come back and take the rest of my stuff if needed

agreed. you have to start at some point and with classes it’ll make your case easier. you can include that you need a personal space to perform better and all that jazz
