Gotta have your own income, your own transportation, own means of housing, own ability to pay for school, gas, groceries, PHONE (payment, plan payment, etc), and a separate address to mail important shit to so they can’t take it. Dorms provide the housing and address, you gotta figure out the rest

Job. Doesn’t matter how shitty and doesn’t matter if you have to walk or bus or uber. Just get WORKING. Fast-food, gas station, literally anything. And fet a bank account that only you have access too or cash your checks directly at your bank and keep the cash on your person
