No yeah but financial independence is another thing, i wanna at least be up to a good point where i can afford to move out is all💔

Ask them to help you find a place. Make them part of the process so that they feel as tho they’re “nesting” where you’ll be living.

Basically, ensure their involvement so that they feel even more comfortable with it. Ask them for advice too

The problem with this is I don’t think they’re very understanding, and they’re the type of parents that prob wouldn’t want me moving out till I’m 21 when they can also “help” me decide what to do with my life. It’s like I have no say in it basically, and they’re feel as though they need to involve themselves with everything it’s just annoying

And I obviously don’t wanna wait that long, It honestly would be simpler to just figure it out myself and just tell them I wanna move out and planning on it then have to wait for them bc in that case they’d like be opposed to it and fault me for “not loving them” hence why I wanna leave
