I was in the same situation as op with my younger sibling, 2 years ago I stopped using the bathroom beside my bedroom and began using the one downstairs exclusively. It’s disgusting in there now, she will not clean it even though she’s the only one that uses it. Sometimes people need to see what they’re responsible for for them to take that responsibility, sometimes that unfortunately doesn’t work :/

My sister is 17 right now now, I think she might only start changing when she needs to share a room/bathroom with a stranger in college.
