Im with #1, your dad’s opinion is irrelevant! He evidently doesn’t know how to be a decent man so he doesn’t get an opinion on what men you seek/go out with.

starts complaining to me on how i shouldn’t go for that kind of guy. which is crazy bc my dad physically, mentally, and emotionally abused my mom. he thinks he’s a god when he’s the biggest asshole yet. yet, my friend is probably one of the most humbling, easygoing people ik and i’m at the point where i like personality more than looks.
