I wish I could give the nine subscribers to my story a hug. I can’t believe there’s almost ten people out there who are like, “GIVE ME THE NEXT PART!!”

ikr, even more there’s 28 people who are like “I want to know any time you post a new fic no matter the fic” like i’m in shock and my most popular fic i’m in shock at the number who are like tell me when you update give me the next part (and some’ll tell me in the comments too) like I didn’t think it was that impressive but thanks (it’s over 300 I still don’t know how/why)

“The Call of Ktulu and the Song of Storge” it’s cross posted on AO3 and Wattpad (gotta get both audiences lol)

Someday I might get to those numbers!! Luckily, I feel like I’m writing a story that *I* needed to read, so I’m experiencing a lot of joy just from the story creation process

Like, it’s really making me think and reflect about my life along with challenging my writing skills

For reference, I’m the same user as the person who has the grandpa and the dog die like ten days apart lol

Good for you for sticking to it for two years! I just started writing in the spring. Idk if I could stick to a single ongoing story for more than like 12 months. I think my brain would explode and demand I move onto the New Work in Progress

That’s dedication. What’s its word count at? My published word count is just under 60k, but the story is going to finish being around 80-90k

currently published count is like 97k it’ll be over 100k after the next update, I don’t update very frequently since I get busy with school and all that

Same. I didn’t write for four years bc of school and depression. Sometimes I feel like the constant workload snuffles out the spark, you know?
