5,000 give or take for my current one (meaning they range from around 4,000 - 7,000)

Lowkey I have one long fic that the average word count per chapter is around 8k and another that’s 15k, really varies based on how it’s flowing

my chapters grow in length during editing ngl i’ve had to cut them in half before
