depending on ur definition. some ppl see "pro-shipping" as being open to having problematic shippers on ao3/in the community without gettint banned or harrassed, while anti-shipping is when u dont want those ppl in fandom spaces at all/dont believe websites like ao3 should host those ppl on their site

i dont agree/like seeing certain topics in fics, but i also acknowledge that theyre just fics! it is not a reflection of that persons real life, and often writing about "icky" ships can be a way for ppl to process trauma. i also think that banning ppl from ao3/fandom spaces is a slippery slope- censorship is never good!
