Well, responding to comments, is a good way to bond with your audience. In terms of writing, look around at how other authors in your fandom write, or what they’re writing on. Popular head cannons are good inclusions. Connection with your audience is a trial and error process, you’ll find your own special way with time.

Thank you! I’ve only gotten four comments. I have replied to each of them, but they were left weeks ago. You are right about doing popular headcannons. I think that might be where I’m missing the mark bc my AU is on the more uncommon side and my story isn’t smut/relationship based
