I’ll go first I read Heat Waves (before everything came out about Dream) and it was the most boring fic I’ve ever read. They did literally nothing the whole however many chapters it was.

honestly in the same vein i hated the sbi boys (before wilbur was shown to be shit) passerine and it was just not my thing

I don’t read rpf on principle but I gave it a try after I find out they read it and weren’t too uncomfortable about it but I guess you can’t be uncomfortable about a fic where nothing happens I guess.

i have mixed feelings, they can def lean parasocial though some are more characterizations set in the real world rather than actually about the real people
